Meet pretty Lolly.  Her foster family says that Lolly has been a wonderful house guest! She has taken great care of her 4 babies. She is very sweet and laid back. She enjoys pets and head scratches. She likes to lay near her people but so far is not a lap kitty. She has a lot to say when she is waiting for her food but is pretty quiet otherwise. She is the first one to greet us at the door. Lolly is interested in toys but her kitties like to take over and she lets them play. She loves to lay and rub on a banana stuffed with catnip. She has been great with my 5 and 7 year old children. Lolly enjoys having a window to look out on a high perch.  She isn’t too sure about the ceiling fans or plastic bags. We will miss Lolly but we know that she will find an amazing family and give her all the love that she deserves.   ❤ ️  Loly is FIV+.  FIV+ cats can live as long and healthy a life as non-infected cats. This doesn’t mean they will never become ill; they are, after all immunocompromised, so illnesses can be easier to catch and harder to fight off. They have the same needs as any other cat: high quality nutrition, a clean, stress-free, strictly indoor environment, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love. If they should become ill, they are generally treated earlier, longer, and more aggressively than non-immunocompromised cats (meaning they need to see the vet at the very first sign of illness and may be on a stronger medication or on medication for a longer period of time).

You can view some of our adoptable cats and kittens during store hours at the Commerce Petsmart on the west side of Haggerty Road just north of 14 Mile Road.
