Mimsy is a beautiful calico with unusual markings and a most unique looking face. She is so sweet she’s become a rescue favorite! We’d all take her home if we didn’t already have too many cats at home lol.  She came to LOCRA due to her former owner's health issues.  She is a a little shy at first, and may take a week or two for her to get used to a new living space, but once she does she’s such a sweetheart!  After only a week at her fosters, she was coming around for pets and belly rubs.  Once she gets to know you she is okay with being picked up and placed on your lap for cuddles (and will stay there).  She is very affectionate.

Mimsy's ideal home will be with a cat owner who is willing to be patient with her at first. She would do better in a home on the quieter side, with adults.  She gets along with other cats, but she has had no contact with dogs. She is generally pretty easygoing and relaxed once she’s comfortable.  She is a little vocal in the early evening and will often sound like Scooby-doo, saying "RUH-ROH!" when she would like some attention.
