Inkster was found outside a home that had bred Siamese cats and released them to the neighborhood, which likely accounts for Inkster's very unique and beautiful look. Everyone who meets Inkster says that they have never seen a cat with such a unique coat. He is a Tiger combined with Siamese and has the beautiful blue eyes. Inkster is initially scared of strangers and when one comes he will go and hide, but once Inkster is in his hiding place if the stranger goes to him and pets him then Inkster will start purring and be very happy. He must be "in his spot" for strangers to pet him. He is never aggressive and is just shy. With you he will open up and will come to you multiple times a day to be petted. He is bonded and spends 95% of the time with Friday. Friday keeps him active as he will initiate play time with Inkster, otherwise Inkster's nature is to sleep a lot when Friday isn't making him play or grooming him. He does not destroy anything as he only using the scratch pad to sharpen his claws. Inkster LOVES other cats. He interacts with them at every chance he gets. Inkster is FIV positive.

FIV+ cats can live as long and healthy a life as non-infected cats. They have the same needs as any other cat: high quality nutrition, a clean, stress-free, strictly indoor environment, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love. If they should become ill, they are generally treated earlier, longer, and more aggressively than non-immunocompromised cats (meaning they need to see the vet at the very first sign of illness and may be on stronger medication or on medication for a longer period of time).
