Hey!  Hey!  Hey!  My name is Yomi Gaeri, but you can call me Yomi, or Yomer's as my foster parents affectionately call me. 2022 was a difficult year for me- I was rescued with severe burns and pregnant, it took me all year to recover but now I am ready for my forever home! (Black cats are some of the most loving, sweet cats ever!!! ) I love to play, my favorite activity is chasing that pesky red dot; so quick, so annoyingly elusive.  Despite my lack of success at catching it my foster parents always reward me for my bravery with hugs, kisses, and rub-downs afterwards, it makes me feel like a queen.  When my foster parents are hanging out with me, after getting all the love & cuddles and play that I could want, I like to perch in a place where I can see all the entrances so that I can be alert and protect them; after all, they're big and clumsy while I'm small, nimble, and ferocious. Quick disclaimer, with my history I can get a little overstimulated, so would prefer a home with no young children and to be an only cat (dogs unknown).  I love to play fetch!!! I will chase and bring back toys as long as you will throw them!  I will even drag long stick toys to you so we can play!!!  

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at Petsmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township.
