Sweet Flowerr is a quiet, low key, and low maintenance lady. She came to LOCRA as a rescue mama with two kittens. She was wonderfully attentive to her kittens, but did not trust the foster right away. It took a few days before she didn't run to get between her babies and the foster when she walked into the cat room. Gentle head rubs were the key here. Flowerr LOVES rubs and full body strokes. Once that was established, so was trust. When the kittens matured enough and were adopted, Flowerr turned on the charm. She loves bed time, running up the stairs to jump into the bed and take her place. Her foster loves the way Flowerr stretches herself out and cuddles up. She stays near her foster most of the day. Her favorite time of the day is in the evening. She loves to go from room to room and sit on the window ledges to watch the feral cats that come to eat. She also loves the high stools in the kitchen, in front of the windows. But, she has learned not to get on the table or kitchen counters. (Yes, you can teach any cat not to get on eating surfaces). Flower is not a fussy eater. When she was nursing, she ate canned food. As soon as the kittens were gone, she only wanted dry food from that time on. Flowerr needs a quiet home. Her only experience with other pets is her own kittens and the foster kittens that have come through the home. She is ok. But, not interested. She is also a near cat, rather than a lap cat. Loves to be near. She will come to you. She would rather not be picked up. Flowerr is over due for a permanent adoption.

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at Petsmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
