Neelix is back with our rescue after having been found wandering in a neighborhood in Toronto Canada. After several attempts to locate the original adopter, we have officially taken him back under our rescue to be rehomed to a new family. We were advised by the woman who had been feeding him that she, noticed him limping a few days before we went to get him. She took him to her vet who did X-rays and said he may have been “clipped by a car” since it showed a hip fracture. He did have to have hip surgery, which he is recovering from now. This boy is the sweetest cat after all that’s happened to him. He has never lashed out or been upset with his human caretakers. We needs a special family for a very special boy who survived being “lost” outside in the rescuer’s neighborhood without his original adopted family. He does not have a mean bone in his body and would make any family lucky to have him. If you think you might be that special family please be sure to have your adoption application completed and submitted for approval so we can get this boy back in the swing of being a loved and cherished member of a family.

Below is the original bio for this handsome boy when he was a young kitten. Nothing much as changed regarding his personality except he is no longer a shy kitten. He is a strong and handsome young cat!

Neelix is such a gentle little gentleman. Like the Star Trek character, he is humble and inquisitive. He slept in his foster’s sweater for the first five weeks of life and he will certainly continue to make a great cuddly companion. He’s a little shy at first so you will need to take things slow with him as he gets bigger.  He needs a patient person who’s willing to allow him the time to build trust. He has the softest, sweetest personality.  He’s a curious boy, who inherited his good looks from his mommy. 
He’s very gentle and and will let you hold him. He takes epic naps and will sleep through any chaos around him. 
 

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
