Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Meet Rhubarb (aka Tiny Barbara) – The Petite Queen of Snuggles & Sass Rhubarb may sound like a dessert, but this little lady is the main course. Affectionately known as Tiny Barbara (yes, really), she’s a dainty, all-black beauty with one rebellious white whisker that insists on doing its own thing. At around 3–4 years old, this domestic short hair came into foster care and, within an hour, decided it was the perfect time to deliver two healthy kittens. She’s been nailing the whole “supermom” thing ever since. Now that her babies are thriving, Rhubarb is ready to retire her maternity robe and find her forever home—preferably one where she can soak up all the attention. She’s outrageously affectionate, happily carried around like a baby, and never says no to snuggles. In fact, if cuddling were a competitive sport, she’d have the gold medal and the endorsement deal. Rhubard is also quite the conversationalist. She has a wide range of vocal stylings—from gentle mews to full-on monologues—and she’s not afraid to share her opinions. Whether you’re watching TV, folding laundry, or just walking through the room, she’ll be there to provide running commentary. She adores people—all people—and will warm up to strangers like they’ve been lifelong friends. Other animals? Not so much. Rhubarb has yet to meet a cat or dog she didn’t try to throw paws at. This could be due to lingering mama bear instincts, and with time and slow introductions, she might tolerate a mellow feline roommate. But let’s be real: she’s probably happiest as your one-and-only. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and slightly dramatic sidekick who will shower you with affection and always keep life interesting, Rhubarb is your girl. Tiny in size, huge in personality—she’s ready to rule your heart (and your lap).
