“Beast” was her name

February 23rd 2021, a very scared and young foster cat started giving birth to her 7 kittens. 

The 6th kitten born was Beast. Beast was born extremely pre mature, having physical deformity of clubbed feet, and weighing less than an ounce. The kitten had a frail body and it took a few moments to get her to cry out. 

When Beast did make a sound, it was loud. Beast wanted to be heard. Beast wanted to live. 

Beast’s foster mom and helpers at LOCRA did what they could checking on her often. But in the end, two days after birth, Beast passed away. 

Beast is survived by her mom and 6 healthy and well loved siblings.
