Odysseus: From Feral Colony to Future Lap Cat. Meet Odysseus (Odi).

Born feral, he was destined for a hard life until LOCRA rescued him and his sister Hera, realizing they were young enough to find a forever home. They were incredibly shy, having spent their whole lives avoiding humans and learning to hide. Gaining Odi's trust was a long journey. He wouldn't be touched or go near me. However, with the help of my resident cat, “Daddy Bilbo,” and other foster kittens, Odi learned how to play and socialize. After months of patient effort, he took a leap of faith: he jumped onto my lap, purring and snuggling in for the pets he once feared. Since that day, Odi has shown his true nature. In my six years of fostering, he is one of the sweetest, gentlest kittens I have ever known, never using his claws or teeth when he plays. He is Bilbo’s best buddy and a loving "older brother" to all new foster kittens. His clipped ear is a reminder of the harsh life he escaped, but his sweet eyes and loving heart prove he is destined for a special home. If you are patient with him, Odi will reward you with a lifetime of devoted love.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and de-wormer.
